A friend gave this to me, as he knows I like "old" stuff. Don't have much info as there are not any identifying marks inside. Just "12A57" stamped in ink on the inside of the back cover.

I would love to know more about this watch. It is also self winding and says "US Time Corporation on the outside of the back cover.
      Thank you!

US Time would date it from 1946-64 or 65, with the basic design of the watch, it would lead me to say the very late 1950's to mid 1960's.

Sorry just read the full description, the ink stamp would relate to Dec 57

Your watch is named a "Viscount" from 1957. It features a #29 self winding movement. They are prone to wobblly rotors but, generally are quite reliable.
