    Love those SX-70s. They were one of the coolest technical marvels of their time.
    1. Single Lens Reflex - through the lens view of image
    2. Folds down into a small (for the times) package.
    3. Auto Exposure.
    4. The film was an amazing achievement in photo chemistry.

      Yes ... this was a marvel of technology that was so interesting, in fact, that Ansel Adams shot SX-70 photos. My CW icon profile currently posted is a manipulated SX-70 image of me shot by the famous photographer Marion Patterson at one of Adams' workshops in Yosemite.

      I thought that looked like an altered polaroid.

      I keep an eye out for your photo posts, beautiful stuff!

      The closest I have to an old view camera is a 4x5 Crown Graphic.

      Sounds like an interesting workshop, I'm thinking a post with that pic with some more info would be great. :)
