Valentine's Varnishes Thermometer/Farmers Mutual Fire Thermometer

Does anyone have date info for these thermometers, and rarity, picked them up recently and after some research I believe the Valentines is from the late 1880s before it became Valspar... I just really liked how it said "coach and automobile", not sure about the insurance thermometer...
