Battlefield Max Cohn jacket with chaplain cross. The tag also says Brooklyn NY and Long Beach CaL.
Found this at an estate sale. I thought it was interesting. Is any one familar with these coats and what age it may be ? The interior pocket has a name tag that appears to not be filled out. The buttons are held in by clips and they read Waterbury button Co. Conn. each has an eagle on front. I am just assuming the cross on the sleeve refers to a chaplain. Would love if someone can tell me more about the jacket.

It looks like a USN Chaplain (Christian) uniform for a Commander ( O-5, same as a Lieutenant Colonel).

I don't know the exact age, but would suspect 1960s- 70s.

      Thank you Scott,
That gives me a better understanding what to search. I just took one of the buttons off ( they are held on by a clip ) The back of the button reads
Waterbury Button Co. Conn. I am uncertain if that helps to determine an age . I am off to search some more : )
