    I found this at a thrift store and bought it for $20. I was going to paint it and recover the seat but hubby said to not paint it. I am curious as to the age of it. All I did was recover it. When I took off the tacks there were 3 different materials and a woven seat (basket weave). I didn't want to ruin it all so I left two of the three materials. The first material appeared to be an old green and white ticking that looked pretty shabby.

      Thank you for not painting it and saving the original fabric under he modern cover. I just posted a similar style today. It might be shaker furniture.
