Purple cameo found at thrift store. Is it Victorian, art nouveau, repro, other? Glass? Brass? No marks on back. It's a little bigger than 1 1/2" x 2". Is it a score or just a pretty trinket?

I really, really want to know what era it's from or decade it was made. Then it'll be a solved mystery for me.

It reminds me of sash pins I have seen. It could be from the earlier part of the 1900's; maybe around 1910-1920's. But I am no expert:)
