    It is heavy for its size.
    Looks like 1811 on one side of the large bell

      This object is an antique Spanish or Mexican colonial triple altar bell made of bronze.

      Such handbells (also known as campanas triples) were historically used within the Catholic liturgy; for example, they were used in monasteries or as altar and sacristy bells during religious ceremonies.
